Should I Spend $3,300?

OK, so I need to make a decision that could save or cost me $3,300 and I could use YOUR help.

iPhone Programming Workshop

iPhone Programming Workshop

I’m at that place in my appventure where I think I need to get some one-on-one attention from somebody who knows what they’re doing.

I’m serious about learning, but I need to speed things up or I risk fizzling out on my own steam. I need a push. I need an immersion experience. I need someone that will just let me rattle off all my questions and give me straight answers. I need real-life demonstrations.  I need a WORKSHOP.

So I’ve done my homework and found several workshops on beginning iPhone app development.  The one I’m leaning toward is called “iPhone Programming” and it’s hosted by the Pragmatic Studio.  It’s 4 full days of iPhone immersion, set in Reston, VA. The training alone is $1900, but I still need to pay for air travel, food, taxis, and hotel rooms. All-in-all this trip could cost me $3,300. The price seems comparable to other trainings I’ve found, but I’ve never done this before.

So the question I pose to YOU…is should I go? Is it worth $3,300?

Has anyone ever attended this workshop? Does anyone have a story you want to share from your appventure at a workshop like this?

I need to decide in the next 2 weeks otherwise you can add another $300 to the bill!

Why not? It is a great opportunity to learn and grow, and I KNOW you will dedicate yourself to the training while you’re there, as well as get the chance to rub shoulders with peers in the field, and network with them for the future.
