iPad - Can't Wait!

When I first heard the announcement of the iPad I felt an amazing amount of excitement and energy about it.  I really couldn’t wait to see and use one.

I already had ideas for iPhone apps, and with that big of a touch screen it really got me thinking.  I was, and still am, particularly excited about the prospects of using the iPad for a specific project where I work, Ministry Sync.

I wouldn’t say the device is as revolutionary as the iPhone because it’s pretty obvious that it’s just a bigger faster iPod touch. However, I’m certain that it will open up the market to people who have big fingers and bad eyesight…seriously. For example, I was trying to sell my dad on getting an iPhone for years, but when the iPad came out he was much more easily convinced.  I think there’s a whole new range of applications that are possible and a bigger audience to sell to.  I knew I had to get my head in the game.  I needed to get back on track with my Cocoa studies, but where to begin this time exactly?
